Show Notes

Speaker, author, trainer and co-host of the successful Business 1st Responders Podcast, Jay Maymi, sits down with John Chester to talk mindset, mental motivation, and music. Everyone deals with problems differently, but it's really difficult if you've never been taught to try. Our core belief system helps us see that we're worth it.

How do we teach people they can be happy, successful, and satisfied without a positive core belief system?

"It's OK to fail, just keep going." ~ Jay Maymi

If you've never been taught that failure was part of the solution, you will have a difficult time coming to terms with the events of your life. You may have developed a negative core belief system that plays a role in other things you attempt to do. When you are young, this might be identifiable and somewhat easier to correct. The older you are, the more years of damage that must be undone.

Jay reminds us that the one you believe you can do something, you become unstoppable. If you think you can't, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Stop looking at people who are successful as the exceptions to the rule, and start seeing them as examples of what you can do.
