Show Notes

Local DFW networking legend Forrest Allen Ward talks with Host John Chester about his lifetime journey through Texas folk music. How did it frame the 'people perspective' he's used for years to connect fabulous individuals? You've got to hear this!

He decided to learn how to play guitar the moment he saw one. Hear about his relationship with the folk icon Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul, and Mary. Peter offered him the best advice he would ever get. "If you screw up, people will forgive you. they just want you to be genuine and do the best you can."

Forrest graduated with Larry Gatlin and you will thoroughly enjoy the stories he has to share of his early experiences with Texas folk music.

Since 2009 Forrest has entertained us through the Spectacular Follies at the Eisemann in Richardson, Texas every September.

Forrest learned about intentional communication. Find out what people want to buy and you will have a customer forever. He now offers 3 opportunities the first week of every month.

  • US Success Networkers meet in the morning.
  • US Success Speakers meet over lunch.
  • US Success Events meets in the evening.

By holding these networking meetings each month in this way, people have the whole month to connect and collaborate with new relationships! Forrest's goal is to help you meet 500 new people each year. Networking is currency, and offers accessibiity. When you're stuck in a rut, you can't grow, and neither can anyone else.

Connect with Forrest on Facebook and LinkedIn.
