Overcoming Marketing Challenges - Uncommon Sense in Local Business
Show Notes

This next era of business presents some interesting scenarios, how will you overcome marketing challenges? Health Coach Deanna Blair and Relationship Expert Paul Russo talk with Susan Hamilton about marketing in this post-pandemic era. Right now, a very confused marketplace is hearing most businesses with the very same messaging. How are you going to make sure you are front and center of your ideal consumer?

How do we marry a strong message opposed to the current approved propagandized messages, and our authenticity, if we never make it to the inbox or the social post is flagged as 'false' because it doesn't fit the narrative? Susan, Deanna, and Paul discuss the language we can avoid for the best possible delivery.

Listen in to consider alternative language that not only avoids FTC scrutiny, but also grabs attention in the inbox. Paul suggests looking for ways to sound different than the other subject lines your readers see routinely. Consider what type of consumer will actually build up the marketplace again. Do you really want a fearful consumer you are constantly having to console? A fearful consumer is most likely fearful of spending, too. Energize the consumer who understands what's at stake if our local economy continues to struggle. That consumer is boldly looking for a business willing to earn his dollar, and NOT interested in spending where he's only getting a small percentage of what he's used to purchasing with that dollar.
