Multi-Family Real Estate – Big Ideas, Small Business with Doreen Milano
Show Notes

Doreen Milano talks with real estate investor, Nick Andromidas, about multi-family real estate management and investment in this episode of Big Ideas, Small Business. Nick shares his experiences since actively investing in a 200+ door multi-family living facility a year ago.

Nick tells Doreen that even with all of the changes and uncertainty over the last several months, they have seen growth and their resident numbers grow. It only took them 7-8 months to “right the ship” and have things moving forward again. They started with the leasing office, updating staff, decor, and policies, updating the facility to better fit the needs of their tenants.

Nick and his team have worked hard to create a place where people want to live.

“We are working to change the word tenant to resident”-Nick Andromidas

They are doing things to build and facilitate a good community. Their residents have received free pizza in appreciation of their business and will soon have free snow cones available once a week. Nick’s team has been working with its residents since COVID began, helping those with financial hardship find ways, such as payment plans, to stay in their homes.

Nick shares some tips, tricks and gives us a little advice on how to get started in multi-family investing, as well.
